We were honored to meet with the United Kingdom Permanent Mission in Geneva to discuss the ongoing and urgent challenges faced by Afghan women and girls.
It was a particular privilege to meet with Baroness Harriet Harman, the UK Special Envoy for Women and Girls, to discuss the deteriorating human rights situation in Afghanistan. We emphasized the critical need for stronger international action to support and protect Afghan women and girls, who continue to endure severe restrictions and discrimination.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange perspectives and reaffirm our shared commitment to justice, accountability, and the defense of fundamental human rights.
